WVONL 2024 Spring Conference

WVONL Spring Conference is scheduled for March 22, 2024, at the Flatwoods Conference Center. Make plans now to connect with leaders and aspiring leaders across the state to share ideas about leadership, mentoring, and other current topics facing leaders today.

This one-day conference will feature current nurse leaders presenting projects and ideas currently related to leadership.

There will be panel discussions through the day for attendees to share and learn from one another. There will also be a legislative update and information from AONL.

One of the strategic priorities of WVONL is to offer leadership development and succession planning activities. This Spring Conference allows a leader to register and bring an aspiring leader for a reduced rate. Take advantage of the reduced pricing while helping to mentor a leader in your organization!

2024 Spring Conference Abstract Submissions

Abstracts are due: Thursday, February 1, 2024, by 5pm

WVONL is accepting abstracts sessions for the 2024 Spring Event.

Each chosen presenter in the Power Session will have approximately 12 minutes for a presentation with Q&A at the end of all presentations.

The author of an accepted power session will be notified by Friday, February 9, 2024. The author will be required pay and register for the event.

Abstracts on the following topics related to WVONL’s Strategic Priorities:

Strengthen nurse leaders’ career progression and succession planning and competencies
Create and deliver innovative leadership opportunities for all levels of nurse leaders
Lead and engage in interprofessional learning and development to drive collaborative action and outcomes
Promote healthy practice environments to engage nurses and support resilience and well-being
Amplify the unique voice of nurse leaders who promote health equity, diversity, and belonging in our communities
Influence policy development through elevating advocacy within and beyond nursing
