Each chosen Spring Conference presenter in the Power Session will have approximately 12 minutes for a presentation with Q&A at the end of all presentations.

Power Session #1:

This power session will feature current nurse leaders discussing topics on mentorship, leadership styles, and/or projects pertaining to leadership

Five (5) abstracts will be chosen for presentation in this power session

Power Session #2:

This power session will feature aspiring nurse leaders to present projects (ie-this could be students presenting capstone projects)

Four (4) abstracts will be chosen for presentation in this power session

  • Mentorship (Mentee or Mentor perspective)
  • Best Practices in Leadership
  • QI/EBP Projects (completed or in progress)
  • Shaping healthcare through innovation, expert leadership, and collaborative partnerships.
  • Policy & Advocacy- Legislative and public policy pertaining to nursing and healthcare issues
  • Partnerships to support a healthy work environment
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Collaboration and communication among professional healthcare organizations, and excellence in nurse/physician relationships
  • Nursing leadership development
  • Nursing research related to healthcare, practice, and public policy
  • Academic institution and practice setting partnerships
  • Patient care of the future, and the hospital environment for the next generation
  • Transforming care at the bedside, patient-driven care, and exemplars of patient-centered care
  • Nurses transition to practice
  • Enhancing clinical outcomes by leveraging technology
  • Nursing and support services in the clinical setting
